Cosmos - Choca Mocha

Rich, velvety, and deliciously dramatic, Cosmos ‘Choca Mocha’ brings deep chocolate-maroon flowers and a soft, romantic presence to sunny gardens. This compact chocolate cosmos is loved for its dark, daisy-like blooms, warm cocoa coloring, and graceful habit in borders, containers, cottage gardens, cutting gardens, and pollinator-friendly plantings. Elegant but easygoing, it adds a moody splash of color that feels especially striking among softer pastels, silver foliage, and bright summer blooms.

Growing into a tidy, bushy plant, Cosmos ‘Choca Mocha’ fits beautifully near pathways, in patio pots, at the front of sunny beds, or woven through mixed annual and perennial plantings where its unusual color can be admired up close. Its deep blooms pair wonderfully with pink zinnias, white cosmos, lavender, salvias, ornamental grasses, cream marigolds, silver artemisia, and other sun-loving flowers that create a layered, long-blooming garden display with plenty of contrast and charm.

Plant Cosmos ‘Choca Mocha’ in full sun with well-drained soil and moderate water during active growth. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering and keep plants looking fresh. Distinctive, floriferous, and wonderfully useful for bouquets, this chocolate-colored cosmos is a beautiful choice for gardeners who love uncommon flowers with rich color and romantic garden style.
