Pelargonium - Vancouver Centennial

A true collector’s Pelargonium and one of the most eye-catching foliage plants you’ll ever grow! Introduced to celebrate the centennial of Vancouver, Canada, this dazzling heirloom is treasured as much for its leaves as for its flowers. Each boldly scalloped leaf glows chartreuse-gold around a dramatic chestnut-maroon center, creating a stained-glass effect so vivid it almost appears illuminated from within.

Throughout the warm season, clusters of bright scarlet-orange flowers rise above the colorful foliage, adding yet another layer of brilliance. Compact and naturally mounding, ‘Vancouver Centennial’ shines in containers, window boxes, hanging baskets, and sunny borders where its extraordinary foliage can be appreciated up close. It pairs beautifully with silver-leaved companions, deep purple foliage plants, and other brightly colored annuals.

Give this Pelargonium full sun to light afternoon shade and well-drained soil. Regular watering and occasional feeding will keep it lush and blooming for months. In frost-free climates it may persist year-round, while gardeners in colder regions can easily overwinter cuttings indoors. Whether grown as a foliage feature or a flowering accent, this unforgettable Pelargonium brings a bold splash of vintage charm wherever it’s planted.
