Crossandra - Orange Marmalade

Glowing, tropical, and wonderfully long-blooming, Crossandra ‘Orange Marmalade’ brings rich orange flowers and glossy green foliage to warm garden spaces. This vibrant flowering plant is loved for its bright, fan-shaped blooms, lush texture, and steady color in containers, sheltered borders, patio gardens, and pollinator-friendly plantings. Cheerful without being flashy, it adds a warm, exotic note that feels especially beautiful near seating areas, pathways, and entryways where the flowers can be enjoyed up close.

Growing into a tidy, bushy plant, Crossandra ‘Orange Marmalade’ makes a beautiful accent in mixed containers, part-sun borders, and tropical-style garden designs. Its glowing orange flowers pair wonderfully with purple salvias, blue torenia, chartreuse foliage, coleus, begonias, ferns, ornamental grasses, dark-leaved dahlias, and other colorful companion plants that create a lush, layered display. The long-lasting blooms also help bring movement and seasonal interest to warm, protected spaces.

Plant Crossandra ‘Orange Marmalade’ in bright filtered light to part sun with rich, well-drained soil and regular water during active growth. Protect from cold and avoid letting plants dry out completely, especially in containers. Colorful, compact, and beautifully floriferous, this tropical-style bloomer is a lovely choice for gardeners who want months of warm orange color and polished foliage.
