"The Lab recommends passive speaker setups for vinyl play because of the richer sound quality and more pronounced mid-range. This affordable package is an excellent entry point to passive systems and extends the feature set of your setup with Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, headphone out and tone controls. Note that that the R-S202BL doesn't include a preamp, but most turntables on the market have this feature built-in and the AUX input will work with most turntables." - TTL
